About HTMLCompilerOnline.com

A simple, free online HTML compiler and editor โ€” built by a student, for students, developers, and anyone who loves to code in the browser.

Hi, I’m Adam ๐Ÿ‘‹

My name is Adam, and I’m a final-year Computer Science student. Like many of you, I spend most of my days (and nights) writing code, debugging, and trying to build cool things on a very limited budget and even more limited time.

Back in my second year, I got frustrated with the usual workflow: install VS Code โ†’ set up Live Server โ†’ open browser โ†’ refresh every time I change one line of CSS โ†’ repeat. It felt slow and clunky, especially when I was on my laptop in the university library, on a friend’s PC, or during late-night study sessions with spotty Wi-Fi.

I wanted something instant: just open a tab, write HTML + CSS + JS, see the result live, test responsive designs, and move on โ€” no installations, no accounts, no nonsense.

That’s how htmlcompileronline.com was born.

In early 2025, during semester exams, I started building a simple browser-based code playground using Monaco editor (wellโ€ฆ actually just textarea at first ๐Ÿ˜…), an iframe for preview, and some clever JavaScript to combine HTML/CSS/JS on the fly.

It started as my personal tool โ€” I used it to practice front-end interview questions, build small landing pages for class projects, and help friends debug their code during group assignments. Word spread in WhatsApp groups and on campus, and soon people were asking for a public link.

So I cleaned it up, added download functionality, Tailwind CDN support (because who has time to write raw CSS anymore?), and made it completely free and open for everyone.

Today, htmlcompileronline.com is still a one-person project โ€” no big team, no investors, no ads (yet). It’s just me, a laptop, and a passion for making web development more accessible, especially for beginners in places like Pakistan where high-end hardware and fast internet aren’t always available.

My Mission

To give every student, hobbyist, and developer a fast, zero-setup place to experiment with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript โ€” anytime, anywhere.

Why It’s Free

Because I know how expensive learning tools can feel when you’re just starting out. This is my small way of giving back to the community that taught me everything I know.

If this tool has helped you learn something new, fix a bug, or land your first project โ€” drop me a message on X or email ([email protected]). I’d love to hear your story.

Keep coding,
Adam
